Battibaleno achieves systematic monitoring of the western 
Mediterranean following grid lines and photo identification to evaluate the importance and evolution of the population of Mediterranean mammals. Battibaleno improves the relative knowledge of distribution, behaviour, habits, movement and other more mysterious aspects of life of these sensitive mammals that only in their natural enviromental can be understood During the expeditions we make documentaries which are our instruments to divulge and show to the public the rich bio diversity present in the Mediterranean.
Our expeditions are open to all students and impassioned from all nationalities
The monitoring campaign cetaceans Battibaleno association is financed with contributions from the participants in the trips. The funds paid to participate in our cruises sighting, are entirely used to cover the costs of the project.
